Abstract

The article examines the impact of the military conflict on the labor market in Ukraine and ways to overcome the economic crisis in this area. The object of the research is the labor market of Ukraine under martial law, in particular the level of employment, unemployment and problems of integration of internally displaced persons (IDPs). The purpose of the study is to study the impact of hostilities on the labor market and develop recommendations for improving the situation. The research method is analytical. During the war, Ukraine's labor market has undergone significant changes, including a decrease in the number of jobs, an increase in unemployment, and a shortage of qualified personnel. The study focuses on the need to create flexible forms of employment, retrain IDPs, develop dual education and support young people in the labor market. The authors recommend strengthening measures for the reintegration of IDPs, as well as adapting labor legislation to new challenges. The study proves that creating favorable conditions for employment is important for overcoming the crisis in the labor market and restoring the country's economy.
