Aims and Scope

Automobile Roads and Road Construction is a scientific journal that presents research findings in the fields of transport and construction infrastructure, road engineering, transport technologies, economics, management, and related technical sciences.

The journal’s aim is to promote the development of scientific research and the exchange of academic knowledge in the field of road engineering, the implementation of innovative materials and technologies in transport infrastructure construction, the enhancement of efficiency and safety in road operation, and the training of highly qualified specialists.

Thematic focus of publications includes the following areas:

  • Mechanical and industrial engineering – research aimed at improving road construction machinery, mechanisms, and equipment for transport and building materials production.
  • Logistics and transport technologies – optimization of passenger and freight transportation, enhancement of logistics processes, modeling of traffic flows, integration of transport systems, and digitalization of logistics management.
  • Road construction and civil engineering – design, construction, reconstruction, and maintenance of roads and transport facilities, ensuring the reliability and durability of road infrastructure.
  • Environmental protection technologies – development of environmentally safe technologies and materials, minimizing the impact of transport infrastructure on the environment.
  • Economics – studies of the economic aspects of road and transport infrastructure operation, assessment of investment efficiency, resource management, and sustainable development of the transport sector.
  • Management and entrepreneurship – issues of management within the road construction industry, strategic and operational management, logistics, marketing, and the development of entrepreneurship in the field.
  • Information technologies and systems analysis – application of digital technologies, automated control systems, artificial intelligence, and systems analysis in the construction and maintenance of transport infrastructure.

Special attention is given to improving the safety, efficiency, and resilience of transport infrastructure facilities, including critical infrastructure, as well as to advancing information and management technologies in the road sector.

The Editorial Board welcomes manuscripts that:

  • present research results with theoretical or applied significance for the development of transport and construction infrastructure;
  • focus on improving technologies, materials, organizational, managerial, and logistical solutions in the field of road construction and transport operations;
  • demonstrate an interdisciplinary approach, integrating road engineering issues with economic, managerial, informational, and environmental aspects.
