Abstract
The article investigates the innovative aspects and design principles of electric vehicle charging connectors within modern transport systems. Attention is given to the role of connectors as critical components that determine the efficiency, safety, and accessibility of the charging process. The research also addresses the importance of consistent terminology and technical standardization, which serve as key prerequisites for the sustainable development of electric transport infrastructure. By analyzing relevant literature and existing practices, the study highlights current trends in electromobility and outlines perspectives for further integration of electric vehicles into global and national transport networks
