FORMATION OF AN INNOVATIVE STRATEGY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE HOSPITALITY SPHERE

Svitlana Ivanchuk Kateryna Kompanets Viktor Miska Тetyana Sydorenko

Abstract

The article examines the current state of hotel and restaurant business. It was established that the current conditions of the political and economic crisis led to the renewal and rethinking of aspects of the business activity of hospitality enterprises. Thus, Ukrainian hotels, which with the beginning of the war in many cities act as hubs for the accommodation of refugees, prepare hot meals for Ukrainian defenders and volunteers, provide their premises for humanitarian aid warehouses, participate in securing the rear during military operations, and bear large financial losses with the beginning war That is, currently the main mission of hotels has become the provision of assistance and protection of the civilian population and support of the military. Such a significant restructuring gave impetus to the formation and implementation of an innovative strategy and the development of recommendations for their implementation in the activities of the hotel business entity. The question regarding the vision of the problem in the scientific world has been analyzed. Thus, reflections in scientific papers do not reveal the realities of modern business conduct. The informative description and historical-theoretical basis of the origin of the innovation strategy gives reason to claim that the scientific and technical process is not on the same level. Right now, in the conditions of the economic and political crisis, it is necessary for enterprises to form an innovative strategy for their activities. It has been proven that in modern conditions a new format of hotel and restaurant business is needed. Thus, advanced strategic implementations in the field of hospitality and the stages of forming a portfolio of modern and reliable projects are reflected in an expanded form. The combination and integration of the goals of business projects is highlighted in the aspect block - the "strategic map" scheme. The article presents the main paradigm of forming a strategy for the development of hotel enterprises - constant monitoring of the business environment, organic mastering of strategic thinking and management methods designed for long term prospects. That is, the suggestions developed in the article will help hoteliers and restaurateurs to form an innovative aspect of doing business, thereby gradually getting out of the crisis.
