BUSINESS MODEL AS AN ELEMENT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: RECONSIDERING THE PRINCIPLES OF BUSINESS MODEL ENTERPRICE CONSTRUCTION

Abstract

The article explores how an innovative business model can serve as an effective instrument for achieving sustainable development. The research focuses on the process of transforming a traditional business model into an innovative one, identifying the stages and key factors that drive this transformation. A comparative analysis of several business models, examined before and after their transformation, has been conducted to determine their compliance with sustainability criteria. The results reveal the correlation between the elements of a business model and the principles of sustainable development, highlighting the managerial decisions that can modify a company’s business model into an innovative and sustainability-oriented one.
