INNOVATIONS IN OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT OF MOTOR TRANSPORT ENTERPRISES AS A TOOL FOR ENHANCING THE QUALITY OF SERVICE PRODUCTS

Larysa Snizhko

Abstract

The article explores the impact of innovations in the operational management of Ukrainian road transport enterprises on improving the quality of service products under modern conditions. The study focuses on the process of innovative management aimed at enhancing the quality of service products in road transport enterprises. The article examines key innovations that redefine traditional approaches to organizing freight transportation, particularly in aspects such as transport process management and customer interaction. Implementing effective and appropriate innovations is a crucial tool for ensuring quality management, which is vital for the survival and sustainable development of road transport enterprises in today's challenging environment. The study develops a classification of innovations for road transport enterprises based on the primary areas of operational management. This classification relies on a comprehensive analysis of industry operational activities and trends in the development of freight transportation. Key areas of innovation highlighted for improving the quality of transport services from a manufacturer’s perspective include: innovations in vehicles, customer service, transport process management, ensuring safety and security, personnel management, maintenance and repair of vehicles, environmental innovations. Additionally, modern significant components of quality management theory and practice are identified, which can be beneficial for enterprises in the industry. The evaluation of the research findings indicates that innovative approaches significantly enhance the competitiveness of motor transport companies, improve the overall level of service in the market, and act as tools for adapting and maintaining the transport system in the face of challenges and threats. These approaches ensure stability and efficiency even under extremely difficult conditions. The results of the study can be applied in future efforts to manage the quality of transport services, contributing to increased economic efficiency and competitiveness
