METHODS OF PROJECT PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENTIN THE ROAD CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

Abstract

The relevance of the research topic is due to the need to improve and further develop methodological approaches to project portfolio management, in terms of the formation of the latter taking into account the characteristics of the road construction industry. The purpose of the research is to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of project portfolio management in the road construction industry by developing methods for managing them. The object of the research is the process of managing project portfolios in the road construction industry. The subject of the research is approaches, models and methods for forming and managing a project portfolio. Research methodology. The research was conducted on the basis of the practice of applying the project approach and portfolio-oriented management in the road construction industry. When forming the conceptual basis of the research, as well as analyzing scientific works, the method of scientific identification and comparative analysis was used; when developing a method for forming a project portfolio in the road construction industry - FEFO, FIFO, LIFO and HIFO inventory management strategies; when developing a method for managing project portfolios in the road construction industry - a systems approach, strategic management
