Abstract

It has been established that an important element of local self-government development is ensuring the functioning and development of territorial communities. In recent years, the importance of territorial communities in the land use system has increased. In particular, the level of authority and responsibility for the results of the use of the land and property complex, ensuring the efficiency of land use, has increased. The directions and features of ensuring the development of territorial communities have been determined, taking into account the regulatory and legal aspects of their functioning. The relevance of the research topic in determining the directions of planning and ensuring the efficiency of land use has been proven. The goal of the research in determining the directions and identifying the features of planning and ensuring the efficiency of land use of territorial communities has been achieved. The tasks solved: determining the directions of planning of territories; identifying factors that affect the level of efficiency of land use of territorial communities; characterizing and applying the method for assessing the level of efficiency of land use of territorial communities; identifying directions for increasing the efficiency of land use of territorial communities. As a result of the study, an insignificant level of efficiency of land use of territorial communities has been determined in most regions. Along with this, this indicator was determined at a low level in the Donetsk, Luhansk and Kherson regions. This situation is associated with internal and external imbalances, the impact of the consequences of the Russian Federation's aggression. Appropriate measures have been proposed to increase the efficiency of land use in territorial communities
